Influence of different dose of ultraviolet irradiation on the organism of rats

Abstract

It is known that UV rays modify cell membranes, promote the accumulation of radical products under conditions of a tense antioxidant system of the body, and can cause “oxidative stress” that manifests itself at the molecular, cellular, and organ levels [5]. The article discusses the biological effect of short-wave UV radiation, which can actively affect tissue proteins and also cause hemolysis [2]. Under experimental conditions, the influence of sources of ultraviolet radiation on hematological parameters, as well as on the resistance of the body of rats to physical stress, was established.
