The journal is the successor to the publication "Issues of Regulatory regulation in Veterinary Medicine", founded in January 2007 in St. Petersburg.

The publication publishes materials on the results of monitoring the veterinary legislation of the Russian Federation and the subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as international regulatory legal acts on veterinary issues.
